CSA sponsored support groups for people who stutter are starting up in cities across Canada. Sharing your experiences with other people can be a great way to ease the stress of coping with stuttering. The latest group is in Regina, Saskatchewan!
The British Stammering Association have rebranded themselves and launched brilliant new public messaging. Called "Stamma", it is a major campaign to reposition stammering as a serious issue and to challenge existing misconceptions of the condition. Check out the website here.
The 2019 A Million Things I Need to Say Walk and Run for Stuttering Awareness took place in Toronto on September 22nd, and in St. John's September 29th, and brought out people who stutter, their friends and family and speech language pathologists to enjoy a day of exercise, music, fun and barbecue.
A graduate student from the department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Delaware has requested the CSA to share a link to a research study for men, aged 18-35, who stutter.
