Dennis Drayna Dr. Dennis Drayna

The National Institute on Deafness and Other Communication Disorders has launched a new website that is dedicated to explaining the importance of clinical research. The site "offers an overview of what clinical research is and why it is important, stories from people who have volunteered for clinical trials, educational resources, and health care providers”.
The first researcher to be featured on the section Researcher stories is Dr. Dennis Drayna, PhD, who’s research at the National Institutes of Health resulted in the identification of the first genes associated with stuttering. There are videos of interviews and commentary on The King's Speech. See the feature here.
