May is Speech and Hearing Month. To mark the occasion, the CSA has planned a panel discussion about speech therapy from the perspectives of both therapists and persons who stutter. The event, scheduled on Saturday, May 29 between 3 and 5 PM EST, will provide an opportunity for exchanges of ideas, opinions, and experiences on the subject of speech therapy. Audience participation will be encouraged, so have your questions ready.
This event is suited to older school aged children, adolescents and adults who stutter, parents and spouses. Speech-Language Pathologists and Speech-Language Pathology students will also find the session of interest. Their participation is encouraged and welcomed.
Join filmmaker Cody Packer and Canadian Stuttering Association (CSA) Board Member John Kenney, who will co-host an interactive panel of people who stutter, sharing their first day experiences on the job and elsewhere, what happened, how they handled it, and what they learned. Come learn and share with us!
